Hindu reports covid 19 has led to Aavin Coimbatore, that vends 1.60 lakh litres of milk a day in the district, launching an online system for consumers to get milk cards.
This would ensure customers could do without visiting zonal offices.
A source says people could apply for the card online (aavincoimbatore.com), and make payments online.
Aavin has also begun selling milk by-products through PDS outlets in the district. These by -products are ghee and paneer.
