Zoroastrian Co-op Bank organizes Customers’ Meet; Plans to adopt AI

The Zoroastrian Co-operative Bank Ltd (ZCBL) organized a Customer Meet at the Presidential Ball Room of the Taj President recently, which received huge appreciation from its patrons.

On this occasion, the Bank’s Chairman Yazdi Tantra shared the highlights of the Bank’s forays into technology led initiatives like adoption of new Centralised Banking Software, Finacle and Zoro Mobile- a Customer Friendly Mobile Apps.

He shared the Bank’s plan to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solutions to enhance Customer experience. The bank is focused on meeting the customers’ needs and leveraging technology to deliver easy to use products and services.

Continuing with age-old but gold standard values of Trust and Tradition, the Bank is on the path of decent and solid growth, emphasized Tantra. Tantra reiterated the Bank’s preferred approach to deploy the best technology and the best customer centric manpower.

In his address, Daljit Dogra, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank reassured the customers about the fundamental strengths of the bank like Professional Board of Directors and Board of Management, strong Capital Adequacy Ratio, less than 1% net Non-Performing Assets, decent profitability and balanced Credit Dispersal.

He informed that the bank was careful in choosing its Business Strategies and Business Partners. The bank registered an excellent growth in Advances, particularly the Retail Loans and added that as of March 15, 2023, the share of Retail Loans has moved up to 60% in total advances showing YoY growth of over 65%, the MD underlined.

Dogra thanked all the patrons of the Bank for their continued support and assured that the Bank would continue to register good growth ensuring adequate safety, liquidity and returns for its Depositors.

The bank has recently increased the interest rates on Fixed Deposits, which compare well with other Banks. The Bank is offering Loans for Home, Car and Education at the most competitive rates, he informed the customers.

On the occasion, many customers, mentioning their long association with the bank, appreciated the services of the bank and customer friendly conduct of its staff. They recounted their happy experiences with the bank over a long period of their dealings, said Dogra while sharing the details with the Indian Cooperative.

Many customers travelled from far off places like Pune to attend this event. The customers profusely appreciated the services of the bank and the initiative to have such a wonderful event which enabled many Customers to personally meet the members of the business fraternity, Directors and staff of the bank.
