Deendayal Nagari Sah Bank launches mob app

As a contribution towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of India as a cashless economy, Maharashtra, Ambajogai district based Deendayal Nagari Sahakari Bank recently launched “DNS Mobile App” which will help customers do instant electronic fund transfer on their mobile phones.

The APP launching ceremony was attended by Sahakar Bharati Patron Satish Marathe, Hebalkar Sharayu Sharadrao, Chairperson, Kopale Vijay Kumar Shivajirao, Vice Chairman, Banwaskar Sanatkumar Vithalrao, General Manager, board members and many others.

Pankaja Gopinath Munde, Minister of Rural Development Women and Child Welfare who is on the board of DNS bank was not present due to her pre-occupations.

Soon after the launching ceremony, talking to this correspondent on the phone the bank Chairperson Hebalkar Sharayu Sharadrao said “For making a little contribution towards the dream of PM Narendra Modi, we have launched the mobile banking application for around 1.2 lakh customers which was inaugurated by Sahakar Bharati Patron Satish Marathe.

There are about 44 Urban Cooperative Banks in Marathwada and our bank is the first bank to have launched this service for customers”, she said proudly.

“The application can easily be downloaded from Google Play Store. In the first phase, we are excepting that more than one thousand customers can download the application. We are also planning to start Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) in the coming days”, Sharadrao said.

Satish Marathe shared the news through social media and wrote “Launched Deendayal Nagari Sahakari Bank’s IMPs at Ambajogai today even 1st UCB from Marathwada with IMPs”.

Deendayal Nagari Sahakari Bank was established on 2nd June, 1997 and there are about 9,000 shareholders connected to the bank. The bank has a network of 17 branches across the state with 14 ATMs.

The bank has a business mix of about Rs 450 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 1.10 crore in the last financial year.
