On the occasion of entering into the 46th year Thane based Urban Cooperative Bank TJSB Bank has introduced four new services including Bharat Bill Payment Services. The objective is to be recognized as an all-encompassing one-stop solutions provider, claim Bank officials.

Other services introduced are Corporate Salary & Pension Credit Services, a strategic alliance with Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] for Life Insurance Services and ECS Mandate Management as a sponsor Bank on NPCI- NACH.

In the Bharat Bill Payment Services the UCB aims at extension and integration of its IMPS Channel (TJSB SMART MONEY APPLICATION) and TJSB Internet Banking Customers can also have access for payment.

The general public [non TJSB customers] can also avail themselves of the said facility by visiting any of the branches of TJSB. Currently its Mulund East branch is running on pilot basis.

Under the Corporate Salary & Pension Credit Services the Corporates have just to upload a file to TJSB and the rest is taken care of by it as there would be no more manual intervention, claimed a Bank press release.

The UCB has also entered into a strategic alliance with Life Insurance Corporation of India and is now offering LIC products across all the branches. This will help us to add less based income kitty and customers will also be having a choice while taking insurance decisions, says the Bank.

National Automated Clearing House [NACH] is a new and advanced way of payment settlement digitally through NPCI across country. Corporates having accounts with the Bank will experience a reduced operational cost. A unique Identifier Number is allotted to each mandate. It is functioning on International Messaging Standard- ISO 20022 and any file uploaded till 1.00noon will be settled on the same day, the UCB claimed.
