Few cooperatives could match the enthusiasm shown by the A.P. Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank in welcoming the UN declared International Year of cooperative 2012.

The Chairman of the Bank Mr Ramesh Kumar Bung took his directors as well as the cooperative staff and hit the road to popularize the noble concept of cooperative movement in Hyderabad.

The show was spectacular as senior members of the AP Mahesh Bank could be seen holding the placard and welcoming the great opportunity this year has thrown up for cooperatives at large.

The bank is on growth path as it launched its own ATM thereby enabling its customer to access 88,000+ ATMs of various banks under NFS.

A couple of days back it added one more branch by opening a new branch in Hyderabad. With this  the total number of branches of AP Mahesh Bank has become 37 in the country.

We are also proposing to open 4 more branches in 2012-13 at Surat (Gujarat),  Bhilwara (Rajasthan), Nagole (Hyderabad) and Medchal (Suburbs of Hyderabad),said Bank’s Chairman Mr Ramesh Kumar Bung to Indian Cooperative.

The bank has ambitious target to establish itself first in the States of Rajasthan, Gujarat & Maharashtra and later expand to other states and eventually to entire country.

The welcoming of IYC 2012 by the bank is indeed impressive as it has already erected a separate team to plan for IYC celebrations. Road shows, training programs and many such things are in the pipeline, informed Ramesh Bung, the Chairman of Bank to Indian Cooperative.
