A P Mahesh Bank,an urban cooperative bank headquartered in Hyderabad is a bank to reckon with. Recently it celebrated its 36th Foundation Day in which several luminaries participated.

On this occasion Ramesh Kumar Bung Chairman of the AP Mahesh Cooperative Bank said his bank encumbered by skills shortage has set up a training facility to train its own staff. A lack of the skilled staff, he said, could seriously affect the performance of the bank.

Mr Ramesh Kumar underscored the importance of the continuous training of the bank workers while speaking at a function to celebrate the 36th foundation day of the bank in Hyderabad.

He said his bank sends its employees for advanced training to various training schools being run by the RBI and other banks to be able to have a higher proportion of skilled workers.

Mr Ramesh Kumar credited his bank’s excellent performance to hard work put in by the employees of the bank. The bank intends doing business worth Rs. 10 thousand crore and notching up Rs. 100 crore in profits in the next years, he claimed.
