In a major boost to cooperative administration, the foundation stone of the Cooperative Administrative Complex (Sahakar Sankul) was laid in Latur on Saturday by Maharashtra’s Guardian Minister Shivendrasinhraje Bhosale in the presence of Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil.

Being developed at a cost of Rs 25.01 crore, the modern complex will house 11 offices of the Cooperation Department under one roof, creating a single-window administrative hub for citizens and improving the delivery of cooperative services.

The Sahakar Sankul will feature digital infrastructure, meeting halls, record rooms, spacious public waiting areas, and barrier-free access for persons with disabilities.

The integrated facility is expected to enhance coordination among departments, reduce dependence on rented office spaces, and ensure faster, transparent, and citizen-friendly services.

Once completed, the Cooperative Administrative Complex is expected to significantly strengthen governance and improve access to government services for cooperative institutions and the people of Latur.
