Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated ‘Sahkar Se Samriddhi – Cooperative Week 2026’ at the Delhi Secretariat and flagged off a Cooperative Awareness Van to promote the cooperative movement across the Capital.
The week-long campaign marks five years of the Ministry of Cooperation and includes seminars, awareness drives, quiz competitions, street plays, community outreach and tree plantation. Addressing the gathering, Gupta described cooperation as a powerful tool for self-reliance and inclusive development.
Cooperation Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh said the government is strengthening cooperative institutions through technology, transparency and citizen-centric governance, with nearly 10,000 saplings to be planted during the campaign.
