Ramgarh Adarsh Multipurpose Primary Cooperative Society in Rajasthan’s Alwar district has emerged as a remarkable example of rural transformation through cooperation, turning the vision of “Prosperity through Cooperation” into reality.

Established in 1963, the society faced a major setback in 2021 after the bifurcation of another committee led to a sharp fall in its loan business from Rs 2 crore to just Rs 60 lakh.

However, through consistent engagement with farmers and innovative initiatives, the society revived its operations, increasing short-term crop loan distribution to nearly Rs 1.5 crore.

Today, the cooperative serves 723 members and has significantly expanded its fertilizer and seed business, with turnover rising from Rs 15-16 lakh in 2022-23 to nearly Rs 90 lakh in 2025-26.

The society has also launched several rural services, including a cooperative supermarket, Common Service Centre, soil testing lab, millet store, FPO, mushroom plant and computer coaching centre.

Its PACS computerisation and innovative approach earned manager Anshul Chaudhary national recognition, making the society a model for self-reliant villages and empowered farmers.
