Surat based Sumul Dairy marked a proud milestone on the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day as it was honoured by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue- CGST & Central Excise, Surat, with a Certificate of Appreciation for being among the top taxpayers of Surat city for the financial year 2024–25.
The recognition was conferred for Sumul Dairy’s consistent and timely tax compliance, including prompt statutory filings in the Surat region. The certificate was awarded by Commissioner (IRS) Dr. Manpreet Arora and received on behalf of the Union by CA Arun Purohit, Managing Director of Sumul Dairy.
This honour underscores Sumul Dairy’s strong commitment to financial discipline, transparent governance, and responsible cooperative functioning. Serving lakhs of milk producers and consumers across Surat and Tapi districts, the cooperative continues to play a vital role in regional development.
