The Gujarat State Cooperative Union organised the Youth Conference 2025 in Ahmedabad to encourage youth participation in the cooperative movement and nation-building. On the occasion, a guidance book on cooperative activities for youth was released, aimed at motivating young people towards cooperation, leadership and self-reliance.

The conference witnessed meaningful interaction with youth, highlighting the importance of cooperatives in India’s socio-economic development. Speakers noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the creation of the Ministry of Cooperation, headed by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, has strengthened the vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi”. With India having the world’s largest youth population, young citizens were urged to actively associate with cooperatives.

Youth were sensitised to the role of cooperatives in nation-building. The event was attended by Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman Ghanshyambhai Amin, IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani, Tribal Development Minister Nareshbhai Patel, Ganpat University founder Ganpatbhai Patel, Sunilbhai Chaudhary, motivational speaker Sanjaybhai Rawal, and other dignitaries.
