The Cooperation Department of Madhya Pradesh has been recognised for playing a leading role in the effective implementation of Mission Karmayogi, the Government of India’s flagship civil services capacity-building initiative.
Cooperation Minister Vishvas Kailash Sarang held a key review meeting at the Mantralaya with Mission Karmayogi HR expert Dr R. Balasubramaniam (Balu) and senior departmental officials, focusing on progress and upcoming strategies.
Minister Sarang said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the department is advancing Mission Karmayogi’s goals by improving efficiency, transparency and citizen-centric governance. He added that the mission will significantly strengthen the cooperative movement in the state.
Dr Balasubramaniam praised Madhya Pradesh for achieving the most extensive and effective implementation among all states, noting that MP’s successful model will be replicated elsewhere.
The department has onboarded all 1,122 officers and employees onto the iGOT Karmayogi portal, completing over 11,337 online training courses, demonstrating strong commitment to continuous learning and enhanced administrative performance.
