On the sidelines of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) General Council meeting held on Wednesday, GCMMF (Amul) Chairman Ashokbhai Choudhary visited the NCUI headquarters, where he was warmly felicitated by NCUI Chairman Dileep Sanghani.
NCUI acknowledged Choudhary’s notable leadership in strengthening India’s dairy cooperative movement and his role in enhancing farmer incomes through the successful Amul cooperative model.
Also present were NAFSCOB Chairman K. Ravindra Rao and Gujarat Apex Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Bank (Kheti Bank) Chairman Dolerbhai Kotecha, who extended their congratulations and praised his contributions to cooperative-led rural development.
The leaders exchanged views on enhancing inter-cooperative collaboration, rural credit systems, and value addition across dairy and agriculture sectors. The meeting underscored growing unity among national cooperatives in advancing a more efficient, innovative, and farmer-centric cooperative ecosystem.
