The youth cooperator Aishwarya Saraf, Consultant – Digital Transformation, Aditya Anagha Multi-State Credit Co-operative Society, advocated for stronger youth engagement and leadership in the cooperative sector during the prestigious Co-op Kumbh 2025, organised by NAFCUB at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

Participating as a panelist in the session “Youth in Co-operatives: Future Leadership & Innovation”, chaired by Ravindra K. Agarwal, IAS, Additional Secretary & CRCS, Ministry of Cooperation, Ms. Saraf joined an eminent panel featuring Shri K. K. Tripathi, Ms. Jalpa Jain and Anurag Dang.

In her impactful address, Ms. Saraf highlighted the need to attract young people to cooperatives through relatable narratives, engaging digital outreach, and modern communication tools that reflect their aspirations.

She stressed that youth leadership and participation together are vital for driving innovation and sustaining the cooperative movement. “Youth employment and leadership nurture innovation from within, while youth participation ensures relevance and connection from outside,” she said.

Her vision echoed Aditya Anagha’s core philosophy- to empower individuals, promote women’s leadership, and build a digitally progressive, sustainable cooperative future.
