Maharashtra’s Dombivli Nagari Sahakari (DNS) Bank celebrated a major milestone with the grand inauguration of its 67th branch at Shiv Smarak premises, Solapur.
The ceremony was inaugurated by renowned entrepreneur Ranganath Bang, while Sunil Pendse, Chairman of Solapur Janata Sahakari Bank, graced the event as Chief Guest.
In his address, Bang welcomed DNS Bank’s entry into Solapur, noting that the new branch would deliver quality banking services and strengthen community bonds.
Chief Guest Pendse lauded the bank’s strong financial performance and digital initiatives, stressing that the Solapur branch reflects the future of cooperative banking.
DNS Bank Vice Chairperson Mrs. Nandini Kulkarni expressed confidence in the community’s support, while Directors Yogesh Choudhari, Yogesh Walunjkar, Mrs. Meghna Ambekar, Acting CEO Mrs. Sunita Patil, and other senior officials were present.
The new branch made an impressive start, opening over 150 accounts and 25 term deposits, with Rs 5.50 crore in deposits and loan proposals worth nearly Rs 18 crore on its first day.
Located at Maruti Tele Complex, Shinde Chowk, Navi Peth, near Shiv Smarak, the Solapur branch will offer modern, reliable, and customer-friendly banking services.
