Sehra BJP MLA and Gujarat Assembly Deputy Speaker Jetha Ahir has been unanimously re-elected chairman of Panchamrut Dairy for the fourth consecutive term.
All 17 board members supported his continuation, with the result declared on Monday. Ahir, who also chairs the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) and Panchmahal District Cooperative Bank, has led the dairy unopposed since 2009.
Panchamrut Dairy, a crucial lifeline for over two lakh milk producers across Panchmahal, Mahisagar and Dahod districts, credited Ahir’s leadership for its stability and growth.
His uncontested re-election reinforces his political and cooperative clout in the region, merging governance with grassroots economic empowerment.
