The launch event was held at the Indian Embassy in Madrid, attended by Indian Ambassador Dinesh K Patnaik, Spanish officials, and senior representatives from Amul and COVAP, media reports say.
Initially available in Madrid and Barcelona, Amul Milk will soon reach other Spanish cities and Lisbon, Portugal. Future plans include expansion into Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
Amul, with over 3.6 million dairy farmers, is the world’s largest farmer-owned dairy brand. COVAP, with 2,000+ members, is a key player in Spain’s dairy industry, exporting to over 30 countries.
