Mangal Jit Rai, Chairman of the Sikkim State Cooperative Union and President of Sahakar Bharati Sikkim, met Governor Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan to discuss key cooperative initiatives.
The discussion included training programs for women cooperatives and the supply of milk by Sikkim Milk Union to Army units in Sikkim and North Bengal.
Governor Mathur praised the role of cooperatives in socio-economic development and encouraged continued commitment to the movement. He extended his best wishes to the Cooperative Union and Sahakar Bharati for their ongoing and future efforts.
