The capital buzzed with activity as the swearing-in ceremony commenced at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, marking the beginning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term. The event, attended by political stalwarts, business moguls, and celebrities, saw the inclusion of 71 ministers in the government.
Dileep Sanghani, President of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), took to Twitter to express his jubilation. “Heartiest congratulations to Shri Narendra Modi, a leader of unparalleled popularity worldwide, on his third consecutive oath as Prime Minister,” he tweeted in Hindi.
Sanghani also lauded Amit Shah for his pivotal role in national initiatives, including “Self-reliant India” and integrating Kashmir more fully into India. He extended his best wishes to Shah, who swore in as a Union Cabinet Minister.
Further, Sanghani acknowledged the efforts of other ministers such as C R Patil, Mansukh Mandaviya, and B L Verma, the latter having worked closely under Shah’s guidance as the State Cooperative Minister.
Dr. U S Awasthi, Managing Director of IFFCO, also shared his congratulations on the platform formerly known as Twitter. “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Shri Narendra Modi on beginning his third term. His dedication is set to elevate Bharat to unprecedented developmental heights,” Awasthi stated.
Awasthi praised Amit Shah for his continued commitment to the nation’s progress and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.
As leaders took their oaths, administered by President Droupadi Murmu, the coalition government was officially formed, encompassing 30 Cabinet Ministers and 41 Ministers of State, indicating a robust administration ready to lead India into a new era.
Among the attendees and newly sworn-in cabinet ministers were Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar, indicating a continuity of experienced leadership in the Modi 3.0 government.
The ceremony not only celebrated the new beginning but also marked Narendra Modi’s historic election as the third consecutive Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru.
