The Mylapra Service Cooperative Bank at Pathanamthitta, in Kerala is allegedly involved in a loan scandal, reports Hindu.
The bank’s internal investigation has revealed that those guilty of irregularities have given huge loan amounts to their relatives.
It is said a Crime Branch probe is also underway into the alleged loan fraud.
The crime branch police say, in all 89 benami loans were given involving a whopping amount of Rs 86.12 crore..
