Chhattisgarh Cooperation Minister Ravinder Chaubey took the review meeting of the activities of state cooperative department at the premises of State Cooperative Bank recently.
In the meeting, Choubey directed the officials to make the necessary guidelines for the preparation of the upcoming paddy procurement. The co-operative societies should be strengthened financially and the recruitment should be done for vacant posts in cooperative banks soon, he said.
During the meeting, the officials informed that so far agricultural loans worth Rs 6,067 crore have been disbursed to 13.62 lakh farmers through cooperatives in the state.
On this occasion, the bank Chairman Baijnath Chandrakar, Raipur DCCB Chairman Pankaj Sharma, officials of the cooperative department and others were present.
