The Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS) employees of Chhattisgarh have ended their strike after meeting the state Cooperation Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam.

A delegation of Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Employees Union met Cooperative Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam at his residence last Sunday evening and discussed their demands.

In the meeting, the Minister advised the delegation to withdraw the strike immediately to ensure the distribution of loans, fertilizers, seeds etc. in the interest of the farmers.

During the discussion with the delegation, Cooperation Minister Dr. Tekam assured the employees of the Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Society for arranging regular salaries and directed the officers of the department to take necessary action.

Tekam also said that a committee has already been constituted under the chairmanship of the Managing Director of Apex Bank to amend the service rules of the PACS employees regarding the increase in salary and action will be taken by the department after the submission of the report by the committee.
