IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi visited the construction site of the first IFFCO Nano Urea Manufacturing Unit in Bangalore last week in an open vehicle. The land was allocated through the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board.
During his visit to Karnataka, he also met the State Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai along with the former Union Chemical and Fertilizers Minister D V Sadananda Gowda. On the occasion, Awasthi explained to the Chief Minister everything about the Nano Urea in detail.
Soon after the meeting with the Karnataka Chief Minister, Awasthi shared the news through a tweet. He also met State Agriculture Minister B C Patil.
At present, the production of Nano Urea is going on at IFFCO’s Kalol Unit in Gujarat while other units including that of Karnataka are being readied.
