Speaking in the four day program “Isha Insight: The DNA of Success”, organized by Sadhguru’s Isha Leadership Academy Amul MD R.S.Sodhi spoke on business goals of Amul, reports Free Press Journal.
”When I say value for many, I mean providing a very stable price to the millions of farmers who produce milk day after day, so they are encouraged to invest more, produce more, grow more, and similarly provide the best-made food products” remarked Sodhi.
Dr. Sodhi recalled Dr. Verghese Kurien and his contributions to the cooperative movement on the occasion. It is worth mentioning that the nation is currently celebrating Dr. Kurien’s 100th birth anniversary.
In his remarks, Sodhi said the cooperative model could immensely help in the country’s economic development through small businesses.
