Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union in joint collaboration with Bilaspur District Cooperative Bank organized an event on the ongoing 68th All India Cooperative Week, in which the state cooperative bank Chairman Baijnath Chandrakar was the chief guest.
On the occasion, Chandrakar explained why the cooperative week is being celebrated by co-ops across the country. Cooperative is the only sector through which the country’s development is possible, he said.
He stressed the need for cooperative training in every sector.
The State Cooperative Union Chairman Jhunmun Gupta said even during Covid-19, co-ops were very active at the ground level, and with the help of online platforms, the union was able to give training to representatives from cooperatives.
