According to Sodhi, Amul’s turnover in consumer products has increased 15-20% because people have consumed more branded products. Sodhi said the Gujarat dairy cooperative would double its turnover to Rs 1 lakh crore by 2024 from Rs 52,000 crore at present.
Amul is expected to invest Rs 1,000 core this year and invest Rs 5,000 crore in the next five years in expanding their business, said Sodhi.
