Business Standard reports GCMMF’s Amul Dairy will acquire Heritage Foods’ dairy plant in Punjab for Rs 21.20 crore.
The deal has already been approved by Heritage Foods’s board.
The dairy plant is located at Bhambri village of Fatehgarh Sahib district in Punjab.
GCMMF MD R.S.Sodhi said his organization is in the process of forming its opinion about the acquisition proposal, and will take a decision in the near future.
Sources say Gujarat’s leading cooperative intends expanding its business in Punjab.
