Mahila Udyami Bahuddeshiya Sahakari Samiti Ltd (MUBSS) located in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh has partnered with e-commerce company Amazon to increase sales of rural products, according to a news outlet.
The Mahila cooperative will initially sell multi-utility, eco-friendly cloth bags and also expand its varieties of products through the e-commerce platform. These eco-friendly bags are designed by the tribal women, who live in rural areas.
MUBSS Vice-President Vedmati Uike said the partnership with Amazon India is a milestone in our journey of patience and diligence, helping families become self-reliant, confident and economically and socially empowered.
