Amul’s ex-Managing Director, BM Vyas who hogged headlines in the year 2010 for entering into nasty spat with the then Chairman Parthibhai Bhatol is in news again. Vyas has joined hands with former vice-president of Parag Milk Ravi Khimani to start a new venture – Nutrisattva, reports ET.
The new venture aims to claim a portion of the Rs 1,500-crore protein supplement market in the country. Nutrisattava is a protein innovation company with a core competency in natural protein- for people across age groups.
Last year there were media speculations that BM Vyas is one of the potential candidates to take over as the Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board that controls Mother Dairy.
B M Vyas was the Managing Director of GCMMF whom the current MD R S Sodhi replaced 6 years ago. There were controversies galore at the time of Vyas exit. The spat between him and the then Chairman of GCMMF Parthibhia Bhatol was widely covered by media.
