Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Thursday launched the mobile app of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Secretariat Employees Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. by pressing a remote button at the Assembly premises.

Emphasising the importance of digitisation, Devnani said the Rajasthan Assembly was emerging as a leading legislature in the country through technology adoption and continuous innovation.

He added that the accounts and financial records of the employees’ cooperative society had also been digitised, marking another step towards transparent and efficient functioning.

On the occasion, Devnani felicitated three employees retiring this month, Vikas Chaturvedi, Library Officer; Devi Singh, Assistant Section Officer; and Yashwant Singh, Jamadar, for their dedicated service.

He informed that 55 officers and employees had retired since he assumed office as Speaker, while 125 employees had received timely promotions during the period.

The programme was attended by senior Assembly officials and Ravi Jain, Chairman of the employees’ cooperative credit society.
