The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, will organise Aadi Bazaar 2026 in Raipur from October 24 to November 2, offering a vibrant showcase of India’s traditional tribal crafts, culture and indigenous products.
The 10-day exhibition will be held at Town Hall, Collectorate Premises, near Ghadi Chowk, bringing together tribal artisans from different states to display and sell their creations directly to consumers.
Visitors can explore a wide range of products, including traditional handicrafts, handloom textiles, tribal jewellery, paintings, bamboo and wood crafts, and natural and forest-based organic products.
The initiative aims to provide tribal artisans direct market access by eliminating intermediaries, helping improve their earnings and secure sustainable livelihoods. It also seeks to preserve generations-old craftsmanship and bring greater recognition to the rich cultural heritage of tribal communities.
TRIFED’s Regional Office in Raipur has appealed to residents, art enthusiasts and visitors to attend the exhibition and support tribal artisans by purchasing their products, thereby contributing to their economic empowerment and the preservation of India’s indigenous traditions.
