Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region is hosting its first national cooperative conference in Jagdalpur on October 8-9, 2026. The two-day event brings together senior cooperative officials, secretaries and Registrars of Cooperative Societies (RCSs) from across India to deliberate on strengthening the cooperative movement.
Co-op Secretary Ashish Bhutani and NCDC MD Pankaj Bansal, among others would participate in the conference. The conference seeks to advance the vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” by promoting greater coordination, effective cooperative governance and development of the sector.
The event also provides a national platform for officials to exchange experiences and discuss ways to empower cooperatives and expand their contribution to inclusive economic growth.
