Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank has gone live with eKYC, with Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) set to be enabled next, as part of its digital transformation journey.
The update was shared by Sahakar Sarathi Pvt Ltd (SSPL), which said the bank is using its Sahakar Sarathi platform to introduce new digital services for customers.
SSPL described Sahakar Sarathi as a strategic initiative supported by NABARD, NCDC and Rural Cooperative Banks (RCBs), aimed at strengthening India’s cooperative banking ecosystem through technology.
The eKYC rollout is expected to help the bank streamline customer onboarding and verification, while the upcoming AEPS facility will further expand digital banking access for customers.
