Delhi based Keshav Co-operative Bank has achieved a significant milestone by moving from the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Tier-1 category to Tier-2, following growth in its deposit base to Rs 102.8 crore.
The development was highlighted at the bank’s 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held recently. Addressing members, Chairman Vinit Bhatia outlined the bank’s financial progress, expansion initiatives and future plans.
The bank also expanded its branch network with the opening of a modern branch at Bali Nagar in West Delhi. To strengthen customer services, Keshav Co-op Bank has introduced QR Code-based payment collection facilities.
The AGM was informed that the bank has implemented salary revision for employees with effect from April 1, 2026. CEO Anil Kumar Jain presented the annual report, covering the proposed shifting of the head office from Karol Bagh to Bali Nagar, subject to RBI approval.
Members unanimously approved the annual accounts and resolutions. The meeting also discussed amendments to the bank’s bye-laws in line with RBI and RCS directions.
