Cooperative institutions and the Ministry of Cooperation observed Hindi Pakhwada-2026 from September 16 to 30 with a series of activities aimed at promoting the use of Hindi as the official language in their day-to-day functioning.
At the Ministry of Cooperation, various Hindi competitions were organised for officers and employees, who participated enthusiastically. A prize distribution ceremony was held on September 30, with Joint Secretary Anand Kumar Jha presenting certificates to the winners and encouraging officials to make greater use of Hindi in official work.
The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) also organised the closing ceremony of Hindi Day and Hindi Fortnight-2026 at its New Delhi headquarters on September 29. Renowned poet and writer Dr. Kirti Kale, the chief guest, highlighted the importance and relevance of Hindi.
NCUI Executive Director (Rajbhasha) Ritesh Dey delivered the welcome address, while Chief Executive Pankaj Srivastava stressed wider use of Rajbhasha Hindi in official work. Winners and participants were also honoured with prizes and certificates.
