Gujarat Legislative Assembly Speaker and Banas Dairy Chairman Shankar Chaudhary has launched the Brihad Banas Co-operative Credit Society Limited at Palanpur, marking a new initiative in the cooperative credit sector of the region.
According to a post shared by Chaudhary, the launch was followed by the society’s first Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together members and stakeholders for the newly established cooperative credit institution.
The initiative adds another dimension to the cooperative ecosystem in the Banas region, which has a strong presence in the dairy cooperative movement.
The launch of the credit society is expected to provide a cooperative platform for financial activities and member-focused services in the area.
The first AGM following the launch also marked an important organisational milestone, providing members an opportunity to participate in the institution’s initial proceedings.
