The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) and the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening professional capacity and expertise in the cooperative sector.

The MoU was signed on Tuesday, by CMA (Dr.) Debaprosanna Nandy, Secretary (Officiating), ICMAI, and Smt. Minu Shukla Pathak, Secretary, NCCT.

The signing ceremony was attended by CMA Chittaranjan Chattopadhyay, President, ICMAI; CMA M. K. Anand, Vice President, ICMAI; CMA Navneet Kumar Jain, Chairman, Cooperative and NPO Development Board (CNDB), ICMAI; and Shri Santanu Saha, Director (Finance), NCCT.

The collaboration is expected to create greater opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development and capacity building in the cooperative sector.

The partnership also brings together ICMAI’s expertise in cost and management accounting with NCCT’s focus on cooperative training, potentially supporting improved financial management and professional practices among cooperative institutions and their personnel.
