The Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati, has invited applications for the post of Director, who will serve as the institute’s Chief Executive Officer and provide leadership under the guidance of its Governing Board, chaired by a Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
Established in 1980, IIBM is an autonomous institute focused on capacity building and education in banking and finance, particularly for institutions in the North-Eastern region.
Applicants must be Indian citizens and should not be above 62 years of age as on January 1, 2027. A minimum postgraduate qualification is required, while MBA and PhD holders will receive additional weightage.
Eligible candidates include serving or retired officials of commercial banks, All-India Financial Institutions and financial sector regulators at least at the CGM/equivalent level with 25 years of service, as well as professors from reputed institutions with at least 10 years of experience in that rank.
The position carries a fixed monthly pay of Rs 2.25 lakh plus DA.
