IFFCO organised a meeting of its State Advisory Committee in Gujarat to strengthen the promotion, accessibility and effective use of nano fertilisers among farmers. The meeting focused on strategies to encourage farmers to adopt a more scientific approach to agriculture and expand the use of innovative fertiliser technologies.

IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani said the Gujarat Government’s decision to provide a 50 per cent subsidy on nano fertilisers is a commendable initiative that would help increase farmer adoption and improve agricultural productivity. He noted that both the government and cooperative institutions are committed to promoting modern and sustainable farming practices.

The meeting was attended by IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar, Sanjay Kulshrestha, Gujarat State Marketing Manager R.C. Damor, Dr M.S. Dave from the Gujarat Agriculture Department, J.M. Varmora and IFFCO Kisan Finance Limited Director Rajubhai Gajera, along with other dignitaries.

Participants discussed measures to expand awareness, improve availability and ensure wider outreach of nano fertilisers among farmers across Gujarat.
