Kheti Bank, a prominent institution in Gujarat’s cooperative sector, celebrated its 75th Foundation Day with a grand event in Ahmedabad, marking seven and a half decades of service, trust and commitment to the state’s farming community.
The celebrations, held at Aqua Valley, Tragad, brought together the bank’s Board of Directors, cooperative sector leaders, special invitees and officers and employees from branches across Gujarat.
The day-long programme featured a special Maha Aarti dedicated to the bank’s founder, Late Udaybhansinhji, followed by a presentation showcasing Kheti Bank’s remarkable 75-year journey. The celebrations also included performances by stand-up comedian Kamlesh Darji, illusionist Sapan Joshi and DID-winning dancer Kamlesh Patel.
Employees added to the festive spirit with garba, Rajasthani dance, songs, bhajans and musical performances, besides presenting a special skit and documentary on the theme “Kagaj Se Ek Click Tak”, highlighting the bank’s digital transformation.
Kheti Bank’s brand ambassador Nirma Thakor was also felicitated for winning a marathon in Hyderabad among nearly 35,000 participants.
Addressing the gathering, Dollar Kotecha, Chairman of NAFCARD and Kheti Bank, said the bank’s 75 years represent more than a milestone, they reflect a 75-year legacy of farmers’ trust, cooperation, service and prosperity.
