Kerala-based Indian Co-operative Credit Society Limited (ICCSL) has completed 28 years of operations and service in the cooperative credit sector.
On the occasion, ICCSL Chairman Dr Sojan V. Avirachan met Ashish Kumar Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, and discussed the society’s journey and its role in the cooperative credit sector.
According to a press release shared with Indian Cooperative, the meeting marked the completion of 28 years of ICCSL’s operations and highlighted the institution’s continued focus on serving its members and contributing to the cooperative movement.
Dr Avirachan’s meeting with Bhutani also provided an opportunity to reflect on the society’s journey over nearly three decades and its contribution to expanding access to cooperative credit.
The occasion underlined the importance of member-oriented cooperative institutions and their role in strengthening the cooperative credit ecosystem.
ICCSL said it remains committed to serving its members and supporting the continued growth of the cooperative credit sector.
