Maharashtra-based Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) has re-elected Ganesh Dhargalkar as Chairman, while Abhijit Marathe has been elected as the new Vice Chairman of the bank.
Marathe succeeds Nandini Kulkarni, who served as Vice Chairperson in the previous Board.

Dhargalkar, who also served as Chairman of the previous Board, continues in the top position.
He is also a member of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)-constituted Committee on Model Bye-laws for Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs), which was formed to recommend a uniform governance framework for the sector.
DNS Bank has emerged as one of Maharashtra’s leading urban cooperative banks, with its total business crossing Rs 7,000 crore.
