A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule to address pending issues faced by thousands of cooperative housing societies in the state, particularly those related to self-redevelopment and concessions involving the Revenue Department.
The meeting discussed various concerns of cooperative housing societies, including issues related to the allotment of government land. Officials presented details of the pending matters, with discussions focusing on measures for their speedy and positive resolution.
The Revenue Minister directed officials to take proactive action at the government level to resolve the long-pending issues of cooperative housing societies and provide them the necessary relief.
MLA Sanjay Kelkar and senior officials from the concerned departments were also present.
