Additional Registrar, Cooperative Department, Nargis Banoo, JKAS, visited various subordinate offices of the Cooperative Department in Leh and reviewed their functioning and ongoing work.
During the visit, Banoo took stock of the audit status of cooperative societies and assessed the progress of various projects being implemented by the department. She interacted with officials and reviewed the status of key activities at the field level.
The visit was aimed at strengthening coordination among the department’s offices and ensuring timely implementation of cooperative initiatives in the region.
Banoo emphasised the importance of effective monitoring, timely completion of audits and efficient execution of ongoing projects. She also reviewed the functioning of the subordinate offices and took feedback on issues affecting the implementation of departmental programmes.
