NLCF: MD’s official jeep stolen

r m pandeyLuck continues to play cruel with the Managing Director of National Labour Cooperative Federation R M Pandey. After his decimation at the recently concluded election of the apex body, he lost his official vehicle last Monday.

Parked at his residence last night, the official jeep of the MD was missing in the morning. A surprised Pandey looked around for it but it was not to be found.

I rushed to the police station and lodged an FIR as it was a case of theft, MD told Indian Cooperative. The vehicle was insured but it would take another three months for me to get that money. Meanwhile, I am managing with the help of taxis, he said.

The Chairman of apex body Mr Sanjiv Kushalkar also expressed surprise at the theft. I would come to Delhi around September 20 and would collect the details of the theft, he told Indian Cooperative.

Meanwhile, Kushalkar has restored pre-eminent position of MD in the wake of election that saw MD conniving with the “enemies” of Kushalkar. Forgetting past “sins” of Pandey the large-hearted Chairman has asked him to mend his ways and focus on the growth of the organization, said one of the Directors of the new Board to Indian Cooperative.

“We have bagged many contracts for NFCL but the impending elections in Maharashtra have checked us somewhat. Once the elections are over you can see NFCL in new avatar”, Kushalkar said.

Let bygone be bygone, I wish to focus on future, he said on the issue of Managing Director R M Pandey.
