Never asked anyone even for a cup of tea: Chandra Pal

As the date of polling is getting closer, the pace of campaign picked up. Addressing voters in several areas of Babina NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav spoke of the works done by the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and asked voters to strengthen his hands.

Addressing the villagers of Nayagaon, Yadav said the Akhilesh govt is sensitive to the needs of people as suitable compensations were given in the case of natural calamity. “Give me a chance I will solve your problem of potable water”, he said to people who have to go a long distance to fetch water.

Referring to various schemes launched by the SP govt NCUI President said in Ballampur ”Ambulance service- 108 is working so well and the govt has also decided to provide free treatment to poor patients who suffer from serious ailments.”

Lauding the state govt for installing a power plant in Laitpur which produces 2200 MW of electricity Yadav said no one can overlook the fact that there is electricity for 16-18 hours in this area now.

“The SP govt works for all the sections of society; it plans to have a highway from Lalit Pur to Nepal on the lines of the one between Noida and Lucknow”, Chandra Pal promised to voters.

Talking about himself Chandra Pal got emotional and said never ever in his life has he asked even for a cup of tea in lieu of work that I do as a politician. “I challenge the people of three adjoining districts to prove me wrong”, he added passionately.

Exhorting people to vote not for a leader but for one among them he introduced his son Yash Pal as their son, nephew or younger brother. The SP-Congress alliance candidate Yash Pal and his father are going on the campaign trail separately around the constituency.

Babina goes to the polls on 23th February.
