NCUI trains officers of IFFCO’s Kalol and Kandla units

NCUI recently organized two training Program on Cooperation and Cooperative Management for Personnel of IFFCO Plant Kalol and Kandla, says a press release. The objectives of the program were to equip the personnel with knowledge about the cooperative system, and self-organization and healthy working environment in cooperative organizations with value based day-to-day management so that the employees could perform better at their work place.

The participants were also sensitized to policy crunch and issues before cooperatives. The topics such as cooperative thoughts, value-based management system, special features of cooperative organizations and differences between private and public sectors, salient features of Multi State Cooperative Societies Act 2002, 97′ Constitutional Amendment, working system of IFFCO management and legal issues and the role of cooperatives to attain 17 specific goal for sustainable development of worked etc.

The participants visited cooperative societies and discussed with farmers, Board Members and employees about societies’ working system.

The programs were inaugurated by unit heads and other officers were also present on this occasion D.G.Inamdar, head Kalol unit expressed his views saying the cooperative system is the best business model where there is no exploitation and always efforts to promote the welfare of members and public.

He said the employee work for organization and for the development of the public. The attitude of personnel should be positive This training programme will be very useful for IFFCO employees and hope it will improve the performance of participants, he noted.

S Mohan, DGM and M Srinavas also expressed his views in the inaugural session Ram Jaiswal, Dy General Manager. Kandla unit inaugurated the program and laid emphasis on cooperative thoughts and their relevance in the present era.

Dr. V.K. Dubey, Director, NCCE gave the details of the program and requested the participants to suggest changes in topics to be covered in the program. In the review session the participants opined that program was impactful and should be organized for all employees of IFFCO.
