The list of valid nominations has finally been published. There are 31 cooperators who nurse the ambition of securing a berth in the Governing Council of the apex body National Cooperative Union of India.
If the names are not withdrawn for which the cutoff ends today, there would be voting in about four constituencies. There was a report of musclemen thronging the NCUI headquarters at the time of scrutiny so that names of their candidates are not deleted.
