NCUI: NCCE trains staff of Sikkim State Co-op Union

Considering the effectiveness of online training programs during the turbulent times of COVID 19, NCCE the educational wing of NCUI the apex body of Indian Cooperative Movement organized a three-day online training program from 1 – 3 September, 2020 for the faculty, officers and staff of NE state Sikkim State Cooperative Union.

The purpose of the program was to apprise these officials of the schemes of Govt. of India for Atmanirbhar Bharat, Adoption of Cashless Transactions through e-banking and other models and procedures for officials accounting etc.

Resource persons from NCDC Delhi State Cooperative Training Center and other organizations were roped in to conduct these training sessions.

The program was virtually inaugurated by Chief Executive NCUI N. Satyanarayana in the presence of Executive Director and Centre Head, NCCE Dr. V.K. Dubey and faculty members of NCCE follow the tradition of lighting lamps and singing bhajan.

In his inaugural address, Chief Executive NCUI. N. Satyanarayana said that cooperation is the ideal tool to remove regional imbalances and sustain future development bringing back the economy on track.

Dr V.K. Dubey while giving the details of the program emphasized that educational and training programs help in maintaining the economy apart from boosting socio-economic development by raising mass awareness at the grass roots level.

25 participants attended the program and were all praised for it. They wanted to have more such programs.

The program was conducted by Ramesh Kaul, Dy. Director, NCCE.
