Badrul Hasan, the former Executive Director of NCDC has done his Masters from IIT. He has been re-employed to fulfill the job of cooperative profiling which many Chief Executives of NCUI in the past came and promised with little result.
Even his selection was not without its quota of controversies as some of the NCUI officials pointed at his close connection with the In-Charge CE Satyanarayan.
What do we pay? Shot back Satyanarayan; “it is a pittance for the job he has promised to finish”, he added with disgust. Satyanarayan’s integrity is one aspect even his detractors would think twice before questioning, said another official.
Meanwhile, Hasan has joined and is working overtime to finish the ambitious project. He can be spotted running in the corridors of NCUI clutching files.
An M-Tech in Agriculture Data from IIT, Hasan is believed to be an expert in the collection, compilation and processing of data. He is also well-versed in pie-chart, bar and other statistical diagrams necessary to pin down the issue.
He sounded confident before Indian Cooperative and said the project would be completed before next 6 months.
